Shadow Figures
Ghosts are believed to be able to take on the approximate form of their former selves either as apparitions or shadow figures. What is not clear is what a shadow figure or apparition is actually composed of in how they are depicted in photographs or videos.
Energy can either be absorbed or radiated. The proposed theory is that they are manifestations of energy. Its believed that shadow figures are ghosts that are able to absorb energy, depicting their visages in the form of a shadow.
Why some of these manipulations to energy are not always apparent to the human eye may be based on another theory of motion or vibrations that the eye does not perceive.
