Orbs, Bugs and Dust
This is the classic case of reviewing video from an investigation in which you can never be sure if what you are seeing in an orb, a bug or just dust. While it is always easy to see dust falling in huge clumps from the ceiling or a bug flapping its wings; trying to determine an actual energy orb is nearly impossible.
Some of the common aspects that are looked for in an energy orb are that it does not follow the normal patterns of air around it, that it may interact with the area either physically or through readings on devices such as an EMF detector and that it changes directions in an unusual manner.
All of these aspects are open to interpretation and are often subject to controversy. Our goal with P.A.S.T. is to rule out all normally occurring situations before classifying something as paranormal.
