Location:
Horse barns near a residence located in Sheraton, OR. Built
either late 1800's or early 1900's. Open horse stalls are situated
outside of the 2 barns. Family contacted the paranormal team and
requested an investigation. 1 Barn was suspected of being haunted.
Evidence Collected:
Audible voice stated while in the 1 barn clearly:
"Please just leave me alone". This was recorded on a digital recorder
too. Also, footsteps clearly walking up a wooden stair case to a loft
and continued on the loft while the investigators and female property
owner were present. Also, loud poundings were heard in response to
statements being made about the barn being haunted by a male.
Specifically, several team members felt and stated that the occupant
wanted the barn to be cleaned up of trash and graffiti painted inside
of this barn.
Note:
The land owners had told many of their friends, neighbors, and
relatives about the barn being haunted and had several of these people
enter the barn.
Conclusions:
Entity wanted to be left alone and did not want people
entering the barn except to clean it up. Intelligent haunting.
Property owners were very afraid and anxious and our team calmed them
of their fears and reduced their anxiety. Discussed giving the entity
his privacy, no longer allow others to enter the barn, clean it up.
Reinforced that this entity was not evil or demonic but wanted to be
left alone in peace. Follow up indicated that the property owners were
doing well, no longer frightened, and had begun the cleanup process
and actually felt that the entity welcomed them into his space for
they were following his wishes and desires.
