Essencia Bakary is located in downtown Yakima in a Historic Building located at 4 North 3rd Street, Yakima, Washington. The building was built in the early 1900's and has held many businesses over the years. This includes, but is not limited to, the old I.O.O.F. Meeting Facility, a previous bakary, etc. Currently the building is occupied by Essencia Bakary and Ron's Coin & Books.
Essencia is a wonderful bakary that serves coffee, pastries and lunches. The P.A.S.T. is Present often frequents the location for coffee and enjoys the atmosphere..
The P.A.S.T. is Present investigated Essencia Bakary in the spring of 2011 as a result of the owners and employees experiencing activity that they could not explain. (I.E. appliances turning on and off, items disappearing, etc.)
The findings of the investigation are:
Video: No video evidence was captured.
Photo: No photo evidence was captured.
EVP: Approximately 20 EVP's were captured. The majority of them were Class C or below in nature, with a few Class A's. The most interesting of which was that of a waitress attempting to serve the team members.
Personal Experiences: Approximately 12 personal experiences were noted during the investigation. Only 3 of those were backed by EVP's and considered as potential evidence.
Findings: Due to the amount of evidence gathered, the team believes that there is a possibility of paranormal activity occuring, but that it is unknown as of our investigation. The team will be monitoring and potentinally investigating the entire building in the fall of 2011.
